Beschluss von Rat und Volks-versammlung, Timolykos stellte den Antrag: dass AchaiosS.d. Theodotos aus Chalkis proxenosund Wohltäter sei, er undseine Nachkommen, und dass ihnensein sollen Ehrensitz und Bürgerrechtund Asylie und völlige Steuerfreiheitund freie Ein- und Ausfahrtungestört und ohne Vertrag im Kriegund im Frieden, für sieund ihr Vermögen; und dass man diesaufzeichne auf eine Stele und aufstellein dem Heiligtum der Zwölfgötter.
It was decreed by the council and people,Timolykos proposed: Achaiosson of Theodotos, from Chalkis, is to be a proxenos andbenefactor, both himselfand his descendants; they are to havefront-row seats and citizenshipand inviolability and tax exemption onall things and free import and exportexempt from seizure and without treaty in both warand peace, for both them-selves and their goods; and toinscribe these things on a stele and set itin the temple of the Twelve Gods.
