            <div type="translation" xml:lang="DE" resp="Klaus Hallof"><ab xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><lb n="1"/>Beschluss von Rat und Volks-<lb n="2"/>versammlung, Timolykos stellte den Antrag: dass Achaios<lb n="3"/>S.d. Theodotos aus Chalkis <hi rend="italic">proxenos</hi><lb n="4"/>und Wohltäter sei, er und<lb n="5"/>seine Nachkommen, und dass ihnen<lb n="6"/>sein sollen Ehrensitz und Bürgerrecht<lb n="7"/>und Asylie und völlige Steuerfreiheit<lb n="8"/>und freie Ein- und Ausfahrt<lb n="9"/>ungestört und ohne Vertrag im Krieg<lb n="10"/>und im Frieden, für sie<lb n="11"/>und ihr Vermögen; und dass man dies<lb n="12"/>aufzeichne auf eine Stele und aufstelle<lb n="13"/>in dem Heiligtum der Zwölfgötter.</ab></div><div type="translation" xml:lang="EN" resp="Kent Rigsby"><ab xmlns="http://www.tei-c.org/ns/1.0"><lb n="1"/>It was decreed by the council and people,<lb n="2"/>Timolykos proposed: Achaios<lb n="3"/>son of Theodotos, from Chalkis, is to be a <hi rend="italic">proxenos</hi> and<lb n="4"/>benefactor, both himself<lb n="5"/>and his descendants; they are to have<lb n="6"/>front-row seats and citizenship<lb n="7"/>and inviolability and tax exemption on<lb n="8"/>all things and free import and export<lb n="9"/>exempt from seizure and without treaty in both war<lb n="10"/>and peace, for both them-<lb n="11"/>selves and their goods; and to<lb n="12"/>inscribe these things on a stele and set it<lb n="13"/>in the temple of the Twelve Gods.</ab></div>
